4 Month Check-up
Everything went fine today. Benjamin got three shots again. He was a trooper. He did cry, but after cuddling with Mommy for a few minutes he was okay. He actually weighs less than I thought he would. His naked weight is only 17 lbs. and 12 oz. I still think that is heavy enough. His length is 26 1/2 inches. He has a small head, which the doctor said probably won't change a lot after the surgery. He is in the 90-97 percentile for his weight and length, and the 25th percentile for his head.
Right now he is napping. I had to wake him up from his morning nap to go to the doctor and then he started to fall asleep on the way home around noon, so I am hoping he will sleep until about 2 or so.
It is a beautiful day out, not too hot and not raining. Enjoy the day.

wow! only 17.5 lbs? hahaha. what a big boy! he'll be in a forward facing carseat before you know it!
Glad his appointment went well. I took my youngest, Jackson, to his 1 year check up. He weighed 17 lbs 2 oz, was 28 1/2 inches long. He's in the 15th percentile for his height but still under the charts for his weight and head circumference. He had his surgery in February and still wears a helmet. Since he was in the hospital for 2 months after birth, his pediatrician isn't too concerned about him being so far behind. I have enjoyed seeing the pics of Benjamin on your blog. :)
